◆ Cracking I Damp Heat Testing:

According to JIS-C4306 1991, Automotive Research & Testing Center carried out cracking and damp heat testing on ” MAX-AN ” cast resin winding.

Test result: Appearance normal, no damage, non-cracking.

Technical characteristics remain unchanged.

Overload capacity

When the temperature of the cooling air is lower than the limit allowed for the insulation class of the windings, the output power of the transformer can be higher than the nominal one. If the temperature of the dielectric does not exceed the admissible limit value allowed by their class, the transformers are not subject to any damage or early ageing phenomena. On the other hand by reducing the value of the selected power relative to the nominal one, the transformer can also be used without any problems with higher air temperature like for example those in tropical climates. The graph shows the curve which indicates the power to be selected as a function of the air temperature.

Temporary overload

In relation to the initial load and ambient temperature, the cast resin transformer can allow an overload for short periods. The figures on the curves indicate the temporary overload permitted as a function of the duration of the overload for room temperatures at 20 ° C and 40 ° C respectively.
